Only a few more days!
Well, all our paperwork is done, our visas finally arrived (long story), and the suitcases are (mostly) packed. Fortunately my messy house is providing me lots of ways to spend my time. Nesting is so much easier when you aren't 50 pounds heavier than normal.
We got great news that a few other families that are waiting to go to Vietnam will travel at the end of the month. Sometimes it seems like the day will never come. I'm so happy for those families!
Caleb is talking about Matthew all the time, usually with respect to toy ownership. He has already told me which toys are "Caleb's", not "Ma-few's". However, he is learning the game. If he wants something at the store, he says "Let's buy it for Matthew." Very sly little guy. We've established that Matthew likes blue tractors (I suppose so Caleb doesn't have to share his extensive green John Deere collection), makes lots of "wa wa wa" sounds, wants to go night night, and, my favorite, "He misses his mommy."
After 451 days since we began this adoption, we now only have 3 to go.
