12+ hour flight to Taipei

Well, we have 4 hours and 27 minutes left on this flight. Now, I’m typing this in MS Word and plan on posting this when we get to Saigon, so don’t anyone get excited that there is internet access on this plane.
We splurged about $100 per ticket and got Evergreen Deluxe class. Sort of midway between coach and business. Seats are bigger, each with a TV screen (3 movies show at any one time). The service is similar to what you’d expect from a decent coach flight. Definitely worth the extra bucks to be a bit more comfortable, but still far from really luxury. (Many thanks for that to Caleb who really doesn’t feel like sitting in his chair….this is turning out to be a VERY long trip).
My back got an ache during the first hour or so. It is more or less making me entirely unable to sleep. For once in my life, I don’t have any Advil...or anything else. All that is packed in the suitcases…really dumb. Mike got some migraine medicine from the flight attendant, but it really doesn’t seem to work very well. So you know what I’ll be looking for at the Taipei airport. Hopefully I can find some sleep on our 4 hour flight to Saigon.
