Location: Seattle-Tacoma Airport

We are waiting to board our flight to Taipei. Caleb is really psyched to see all these airplanes. Though we are up at least 3 hours past his bedtime, he is having a blast with his new Bob the Builder toys.

Travel tip to future adoptive families: I’ve never flown EVA airlines. So I was surprised when they actually weighed our carry-on luggage as well as our checked. Our carryon suitcase was 14 kg, nearly double the allowed 7 kg. I was able to shove 4 kg to one of our suitcases, and the lady was gracious to let me by with 10. But as a note to anyone else planning on traveling EVA, you might want to keep this in mind and make sure your carryon bags aren’t over 7 kg.
